Display Resolution for Inspiron 5150

Question

Hello, I am only able to set my maximum screen resolution at 1024 * 768.  For some text which I have been having trouble reading due to the resolution not being set high enough, I need to set my screen resolution one step up at the 1200 * 1024 or something similar.  Could anyone help me with this problem.  Thank you for your time

Which display did you purchase? If you bought an SXGA+, you have the option of high resolution. If you have just an XGA display, 1024X768 is all you can get.
