Docking problem with Precision M65 & D/Dock - After installing PCI vid card

I'm trying to run a Visiontek/ATI 9250 PCI video card in the PDX01 D/Dock to run 2 E173FP 17" LCD screens when my Precision M65 laptop is docked.

The problem I'm having is that after I install the PCI card and dock the computer, all the lights go out on the docking station and the laptop is running on battery. To me this means that something is "tripping" inside the dock, but I don't know what or why. I've seen through other forums that it is possible to run a PCI card in the dock with an M65, so I don't know what the deal is with my setup.

If I try putting on the docking station first and then powering up the computer, I get the message that "The computer is running on battery...blah, blah, blah". So I've tried only a couple different things but I don't have any idea where to go from here.

Any suggestions?
