Docking station for an Inspiron 1525
Hello,
I would like to buy a dell docking station for an Inspiron 1525 but I did not found the one that would be compatible with this laptop.
Could you tell me if the docking station for dell latitude is also compatible for an Inspiron 1525.

There isn't one. You can use a generic USB or Express Card port replicator, but there's no true dock for this model - those exist now only for Latitude models.

Go into the BIOS setup (or Windows power management) and set the system to "do nothing" on closing the lid.

Did you find a station that works. Discount electronics shows 2 Targus port replicators (APC60us and APc51usz.
I was going to plug everything in without a station but it only worked with the laptop lip open. When I closed the laptop the system when to sleep mode.
Any ideas?
