Does my warranty cover this
So a few days into receiving my M17x r4 the audio would not be detected on the laptop itself. i am not pleased.
I have a 1 year basic plan (Assuming because i bought this off of ebay)
i have these for my warranty
Next Business Day Support and the provider is "QLX"
I also have this XPS Technical Support Provided By Dell.
I've researched this topic online and it all points to sending the laptop Back to Dell and letting them service it to replace the MOBO
But im wondering if my Warranty covers this audio Problem.
The audio problem is apparently due to a faulty Mobo
Please Let me know!
Thank you.

If it is due to a faulty motherboard and you are still under warranty, then it should be covered.
The big question has the warranty coverage been switched to you? If not, you will have to do this before Dell will service it for you.

M17x R4 Warranty: This laptop is covered by the Dell's In Home Service warranty until 5/2014. If Dell Tech Support is not able to resolve your issue via chat/phone they will send a Dell Certified Technician to your location in 1-2 business days to resolve the issue. This is the same warranty that Dell gives with a brand new laptop so you can be confident that you are protected. After purchase we shall transfer the warranty to the eBay buyer of record's name. The warranty can also be upgraded directly through Dell.
So im assuming its the same as any other warranty regardless of Owner Xfer.
Also this Unit was a manufacture refurb.
