Hi

Welcome to the community

I would like to confirm, are you getting this error message only at the time of installing video driver or randomly appears while installing any application?

Please follow below mentioned steps and try to download the driver:

http://dell.to/OPb1BR

1) Click on download file

2) Select “use download manager” and click on continue

3) Click on “yes, I agree” and click on install.

After that I would suggest you to install windows update on the computer as well, please follow the below mentioned steps to install updates:

1. Open Windows Update by clicking the Start button . In the search box, type Update, and then, in the list of results, click Windows Update.

2. In the left pane, click Check for updates, and then wait while Windows looks for the latest updates for your computer.

3. If you see a message telling you that optional updates are available, or telling you to review optional updates, click the message to view and select the optional updates to install.

4. In the list, click the optional updates to see more information about the update. Select the check boxes for any optional updates that you want to install, and then click OK.

5. Click Install updates.

Read and accept the license terms, and then click Finish if the update requires it.  If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Please reply if you have any further questions

Thanks & Regards

Once again, you clearly have not read the post! I don't get any errors installing, I get errors downloading - regardless of whether I use the download manager or simple download. The download is pointing to a file that isn't there!

There is nothing wrong with my computer - there is a problem on your website! Please report it to the relevant people, so that it can be corrected.

It seems anything uploaded since the end of September cannot be downloaded. This is a serious issue - and it is not, as I first thought, limited to one driver. For example, I cannot download the new A11 BIOS posted October 4. Please fix this - it is rather hilarious that your own driver download site doesn't work...

Hi

I regret for the inconvenience caused. I would need the following information in order to assist you better manner.

1) Which browser you are using and have you tried to download drivers from a different browser.

2) Are you facing this problem while downloading other programs/applications from the internet or only while downloading drivers from Dell support site?

3) Also, please attach a screen shot of the error message that you get at the time of downloading drivers.\

please revert with the result.

1. I have tried in all browsers - IE, Chrome, Firefox, Opera. Makes no difference.

2. It is only a problem with the Dell site. It happens regardless of whether I use the download manager or just the normal browser download.

3. Here is a screenshot of the error when not using the donwload manager:

Thanks,  natakuc4! Changing isUSDownload to true lets me download the driver. From the name of the parameter, this seems to be some kind of extreme Americanism - are only people in the US allowed to download drivers, or what? Dell, please get this sorted right away! Or should I buy from a different manufacturer that lets people in all countries download drivers?

To be honest mist the drivers and downloads lead to the US ftp website by default. Irs not extreme Americanism because the us drivers and downloads has the same problems. e.g. in the two links I gave above. Dell decided to upgrade their drivers and downloads pages about a year ago and it seems to be getting buggier every day since. They are working in it but progress seems slow.
