Drivers

Question

I have an Insiprion 5100. I formatted my harddrive and reinstalled windows. Now I want to reinstall ALL of my drivers. I put in my ResourceCD and it gives me this idiot program that lists what's on the cd. So I go to drivers and it gives me the options 'Win98' and 'WinNT'. Ok so I select WinNT and lists all of these drivers, and a lot of the ones I actually need aren't even there. I can't even install my NIC card so I can download the drivers from the internet. You're obviously online now... click product support in the top left of the screen and then click downloads...

Download them where you are now then transfer them to the other computer (disk or CD)... you mainly just need the chipset and network driver to start off with so you can get the rest from the correct machine

And while the CD may be missing a few drivers (just the modem in my case), it usually has most of them (but they will probably be older versions) ... try looking around more for an ethernet card driver...

No.., I'm using another computer. But anyways, thanks for the help. Sorry if I sounded rude or anything, I'm a little frustrated.
