Duo Stage software

I installed the software, but there no icons on the overlay page when you flip to tablet mode.  How do you get the icons to show up?

Dell Stage is set up by default to open once the Duo has been moved to Tablet mode. If Stage is not coming up, launch It manually click the settings icon, it looks like a gear. Then make sure that "Show duo Stage when entering tablet mode is checked.

The following link brings up the Duo user's manual.  From there you can learn more about the applications included with Stage.

There is an article on how to restore the icons after installing Stage and gives a place where you can download and install the icons.

You can download the icons from here.

http://kcsportal.dell.com/agent/documentServlet?path=/svc/documents/1299251058636.Duo_Stage.zipx

I hope that this helps.

I downloaded as noted.  Unzipped to Programdata,Dell,Duostage.  Still no icons show up.  Not sure what is going on.  Does the duostation software contain all the program associated with duo stage?  So you don't have to install each program but just duostation?  What am I doing wrong?

If you open the folder Programdata/dell/duostage do you see any files located there?  Are the unzipped files actually showing there.  Where on your Duo is the file listed at?

When you downloaded the file, Did you extract it to see if it had any files? Or did you copy the downloaded  folder directly to Programdata/dell/duostage?

You may need to uninstall Stage all together and try again to get it to work.

I unziped the file that you sent me to to the above path.  It put a folder called Icon in the duostage folder.  In the Icon folder there are 4 icon files (.png).  I copied them over to the duostate folder.  I reinstalled duostage and duostation.  I still don't get any icons on the overlay.  Don't know what to do now.

I am having the same problem. I have reinstalled windows 7 and now cannot get the icons on  duo stage. I have tried the links above and have tried a multitude of different options and still get a blank screen. Perhaps someone at Dell could comment on this issue and how to fix.

I did exactly as it said, there appeared to be a 'duo stage' directory in there with an 'Icon' folder so i extracted to both that directory and the 'duostage' (without a space) - still black screen with no icons.

Volume in drive C has no label.

Volume Serial Number is 7CC1-A946

the name of the directories have to be correct, so check it:

icons put in the directory %ProgramData%\Dell\dou Stage\Icons

apps_list.xml file put in the directory %ProgramData%\Dell\dou Stage

may be modify the xml file for own applications (notice: path setup in the xml file needs slashes not backslashes)

stop the process duo station.exe and start the process new,

now should working the duo Stage application

He instalado el software, pero no hay ningún icono en la página de superposición cuando le da la vuelta al modo tablet. ¿Cómo obtener los iconos a aparecer?
