E-Port Plus Replicator slows down video

Why does my video performance go way down when I plug my M4600 Precision Laptop into the port replicator?

I develop software in the Xbase++ language, under Win 7.

Screens are much slower painting and refreshing when my laptop is plugged into the replicator, even if I am not using any external monitors.

It runs very fast, with no flicker, if I don't use the e-port.

Does anyone have any ideas how to solve this problem?

I figured out the problem.  The E-Port Plus Replicator is shipped with a 130-Watt power supply.  This is insufficient for the M4600.  When I plugged the M4600 power supply into the Replicator, everything worked much better.

I have the same problem.  However, I have two docks (Home & Work) and Dell still doesn't sell the 180 watt power supply separately. Does anyone know where I can get another 180 watt power supply?  Thanks
