E1705 Device Drivers
E1705 - XP Home with Media Center
I had a hard drive failure. I reloaded my OS from the system disk I had. The driver and utility disk I had did not have the E1705 model # so I could not ascertain the respective drivers I needed. The Dell support site no longer lists the drivers for this model. When I entered by Service code, there were quite a few drivers listed but I am not able to ascertain which ones are the correct drivers.
Through some research, I found most of the correct drivers. I'm looking for verfication of the correct video driver. I don't know if I have an intel or ATI graphics card. I downloaded and intalled the generic Intel 945GM. Is this correct?
I am also having difficulty installing drivers for my Bluetooth. My system description receipt states I have a "Dell Wireless 350 Bluetooth Module (2.0 +EDR). There is not such driver on the download site. There is a 355 Bluetooth Module but that does not seem to want to install. Just hangs there while is states it is installing the FN F2 keys.
I would appreciate any help.

Thank you for that response. It certainly solved a number of my questions. I still lack cannot ascertain my video card. I installed the generic Intel drivers but was wondering if the Nvidia drivers would make a difference. I have the below display with 1920x1200 resolution. The tool link only displayed the generic drivers I downloaded but neither the list or the tool were able to tell me what video card I had.
As you can see from the list below, don't see my video card listed.
