E7240 Screen Upgrade Possible?
I have an E7240 with the 1366x768 matte non-touchscreen. Would it be possible to upgrade the LCD to a 1080 non-touchscreen?
The only thing that concerns me is the 1080 screens appear to use a 40 pin connector, the 768 a 30 pin. Can I use an adapter to correct this (they do exist)?

There are FHD screens that fit and use the 30pin connector.
The only problem that occurs to most people ist, that the PCB of the FHD display is wider. So you have to mod or use parts from the model with the touchscreen.
