Cidom

This is the information that I have regarding Private Information Manager.

Enable and Configure Private Information Manager (Optional)

Private Information manager can store information unique to each user such as passwords to other applications, address, phone number, and credit card information.

1) From the "Start" menu choose "All Programs->Wave Systems Corp->Private Information Manager."

2) Follow the instructions in the dialog boxes.

3) Enter any desired private information. (The “First,” “Last,” and “Name” fields are required.)

4) Click on the “Save” button.

5) Private Information Manager will prompt for a new password. This password is used for the Private Information Manager application only.

6) Enter a new password.

7) Make sure the “Save to my TCG Security Password Vault” is checked.

8) Click on the “OK” button or press the key.

9) If the TCG Password Vault is enabled the Embassy Security Authentication Manager may prompt for the Windows Login password.

10) The Private Information Manager will prompt for (optional) credit card information. Enter any desired information (the data will be encrypted).

11) Click on the “Save” button to encrypt and store the credit card information. Click on the “Cancel” button if no credit card information is entered. (This information can be stored at a later date if desired).

12) The Private Information Manager will prompt to create a backup of the personal information just entered. If desired, select “OK” or click on the “Cancel” button to back up the data at a later time

Here is information on installing Document Manager

Enable and Configure Document Manager (Optional)

Document Manager creates an encrypted vault for document storage. Files that are saved in Document Manager (or dragged-and-dropped there) are encrypted automatically without any additional work or setup.

1) From the "Start" menu choose "All Programs->Wave Systems Corp->Document Manager."

2) Click on the “New” button.

3) Document Manager will prompt for a new password. This password is used for the Document Manager application only.

4) Enter a new password.

5) Make sure the “Save to my TCG Security Password Vault” is checked.

6) Click on the “OK” button or press the key.

7) If the TCG Password Vault is enabled the Embassy Security Authentication Manager may prompt for the Windows Login password.

I also have information that PIM wont work with Firefox so that may be an issue as well.

I hope that this helps.

Thanks for the update.  More and more systems are shipping with 64 bit operating systems. Hopefully Wave will have a 64 bit version available soon.

I have contact Wave and they don't support Personnal Information Manager and Dourcument Manager for x64 OS. Since I use Windows 7 x64, that's why those optional feature are not avalable they told me. Wave support also told me they don't plan to support x64 OS at all. I'm not sure if they live in the same world as me but no x64 support in 2012 look like they don't want to do business anymore.
