Error Code 2000-0142

Hey guys.

I am currently living in Japan. My laptop is Inspiron 5378 and i got the harddisk error. As I have my warranty left The part is under warranty. The laptop is US based so now How can I get the replace harddrive in Japan?

You'll need to initiate a warranty transfer first - that will require the purchase of a warranty upgrade if you have only a standard warranty now.  

Only if you have onsite service can you transfer the warranty to Japan -- and also only if that model is sold in Japan.
