Error Loading C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\NvCpl.dll
On boot up I receive the above error message which is followed by the message: "A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization failed".
The desktop image now resembles the view you get when booting up in "safe mode" . I have tried to use System Restore, but to clear a virus I turned off System Restore and forgot to re-set the same. Therefore I cannot find a restore point which improves the situation.
How do I resolve the DLL issue?
