Error code 2000-123

I started up my E1505 the following message appeared Ac power adaptor cannot be determined. I ran F5 test and error code 2000-123 appeared. The location shows Dimm_B i am assuming that a Dimm chip has failed? Am i heading in the right direction and is this a catastrophic thing

Reseat the memory module and test again. If it fails, remove it and put the other DIMM in the socket where the failure occurred. If it fails there as well, you have a bad memory socket. If it does not, you have a bad memory module.
