Thanks bay wolf, ive attempted that, i got to the screen ehere it says "Repair your computer" and when I click it, nothing appears on the screen, just remains blank! any idea whats the problem?

I bought a laptop 3 weeks ago, its the INSPIRON 1545 model and has Windows 7 Operating system. It has been working fine for me up till this morning. I went to turn it on and I am getting the following message: "BOOTMGR image is corrupt. The system cannot boot". anyone have any idea what the problem is and how i can go about sloving the issue??
