Extension for Wireless D-Link system?!

It's very unlikely that you will get the signal across the street, you should measure the distance.  It's probably way too far.  Also, you would need to make sure you used encryption so others couldn't use the signal, and that would reduce the distance. 

They have extended range routers available, I'm using the D-Link DI-624M, there are others.

Also there are many different extended range antennas available.
