Hi,

What is the BIOS version in your laptop?

Can you check if there is a later version available than the one installed?

Please use www.dell.com/support

Hi,

BIOS is up to date. I had DELL AUTO DETECT update all for Windows 10 then I got this fan problem. I hear around that the cause could be INTEL chipset. Should I use Chipset_Driver_K5DJD_WN32_11.0.0.1153_A00.exe to uninstall it?

Thanks

Hi,

Instead of uninstalling the driver, You may try opening Device manager and try updating Video driver and chipset drivers manually by right clicking and update drivers.

Thanks.

Hi,

I've followed your advice and yes, there is a new update for video driver. However, after updating video driver, I got a dead blue screen when plug-in/takeout the HDMI cable.

Fan issue is not resolved yet and a new issue is coming. Have you ever taken this issue on a real Inspiron laptop?

Thanks

Hi,

Thank you for the response.

Yes, Inspiron 7000 is one of the models that were tested on Windows 10 from us.

Since there is one issue after another, Ensure the Windows is upto date or you may rollback to Win 8.1 as the updates with fixes are being pushed via Windows updates.

Thanks.
