Call Dell, verify ownership. There is a charge for the call and service if you're out of warranty.

Hello Senthil,
I think I have the same problem that Amirala. I need to unlock my "admin password" or "setup password". I can access my BIOS but I cannot do nothing there, like activate the TPM security.
By the way, my laptop is a Latitude E6430. Is there a way of Dell restore that password?
Thanks.

You need to place a voice phone call to Dell support. Be prepared with your ownership details (name, address, phone number) - they will verify that before assistance is offered.

No. It needs to be done by voice call.

Are you the original owner of the system, or was the system purchased second-hand or through a third-party seller?

If so, start by registering the system in your name - you will need the current registered owner's name. If you don't have that, contact the seller for the details - Dell won't transfer the system into your name without that (in which case, return the system to the seller for a refund).

Once that's done, contact Dell in your country for assistance.
