GeForce2 Go

I have some sort of video adapter that plugs into my GeForce2 Go video card in my Inspiron 8100 notebook.  The adapter I am referring gets pluged into the S-video terminal of the video card and it came with no additional instructions.  It has 3 terminals: 1 S-video out, 1 RCA video out, and 1 that is unknown to me.  I am wondering if this is a Video in, and if so what software/driver is needed to utilize this.  I already use the RCA video out to clone the display and it works fine.  What I want to do is have my video card (GeForce2 Go) interpret another signal - such as one from a tv, game system or set top box.  Thanks.

Your post is unclear.

You said that you have used the RCA video out to clone the display, but you also say that you wish to "interpret" another signal such as one from a television.

What have you cloned the RCA video out to? Another computer monitor?

*BTW - The s-video cable does come with instructions in a little plastic baggy with the cable.

The cable you are referring to is for output only. You have correctly identified the S-video and RCA ports. The third port 'I think' is for digital audio out, but not completely sure. As far as I know, there's no way to have your card interpret another signal.

Hope this helps
