HDD change
Hello guys,
Recently i bought a new Dell Inspiron 3542. Inside it has 1Tb HDD but i want to put on a SSD. Do i lose warranty if i change HDD?

Hi ,
Thank you for writing to the Dell Community Forum.
Now in reply to your query I would like to inform the system's warranty will be the same .If anything goes wrong with the SSD that you are planning to install then system's warranty cannot be applied to the SSD but if anything goes wrong with the system whatever warranty active with the system will continue.'
