HELP MY COMPUTER WONT TURN ON!!!!!!
PLEASE HELP!!!!
Hi i have a dell latitude CP M166ST and when i hit the power button the power light comes on but nothing happens then 5 seconds later the light goes off and nothing happens.
When I turn it on the display has nothing on it and I cant hear anything like the hard drive.
The battery is fully charged and the plug to the mains is connected and turned on
I am going on holiday in 5 days and I would really like it to be fixed by then!
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try reseating the memory module(s). If that doesn't work, chances are it needs professional repair, which on a system of that vintage, may not be worth the cost.

Thanks but when I rung Dell Technical support , they said the same thing but I really dont know how to reaseat the memory, but Ive taken the cover off and tried but i cant figure out how.
can you tell me how to do this, you could save somoenes laptop!!!
