HOTSPOT STATION APP
I have an Inspiron 3721 that has the Hotspot Station app. When trying to start the app. I get the usual 'Error in start the SoftAPP!' meaasage.
This is a Win8 unit. I have tried several fixes and still no hotspot. Please assist.

HotSpot Ststion is on the factory image but I could not find a download for this.
There are ways to share your connection without HotSpot Station
Set up a shared Internet connection using ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) - Microsoft Windows Help

Remember virus programs and firewalls will block cvommunications

Thanks Rick. I solved the issue by downloading the latest driver for the wireless card and installing it. App wotrks good now.

Glad you got it working! :emotion-21: Thanks for posting back. Not all drivers will have HotSpot Station, so please use caution when updating the drivers. You may want to make a system restore point, in case the new drivers do not have HotSpot Station included.
