Hard disk error code 2000 0142

I recently 6 months back purchased a dell inspiron 15R laptop service code id J6J68R1. When i was woking  it suddenly switched off, later i run the diagnostic tool where it is showing Hard disk error code 2000 0142. So suggest me how to recover this issue.

You need to call Dell with the error - the drive needs to be replaced, which they'll do under warranty.  On many of the 15R systems, the drive isn't user-replaceable, so you may have to send the system to Dell for the drive replacement.  On some, though the drive is easily replaced - it depends on the exact model you have.
