Yes...I had a problem in Network Adapters(Bluetooth related) so I just updated it by the option there 'Update Driver Software'..

And I am not able to change the option for the windows installer from Manual to Automatic. I'm not able to click on that option as the option is dim(lighter)...

And I am using Windows 8

My Bluetooth Headset gets detected but its not getting paired..

Hi Sibin,

Did you make any hardware changes?

Type services in the search box then press enter & look for windows Installer in the new window-right click-properties change start up type to “Automatic”.

For Bluetooth headset issue, refer the following links:

Hi Sibin,

Let me know the device ID for the network adapter from device manager.

  • From the Start screen, swipe up and tap the All apps icon.
  • If you have a mouse, right-click on the Start screen and then click All apps.
  • Once on the Apps screen, scroll or swipe to the right until you see the Windows System heading.
  • Tap or click on Control Panel, located under Windows System.
  • Windows 8 will bring up the Desktop and automatically open the Control Panel.
  • Tap or click on the Hardware and Sound link.

Note: You won’t see Hardware and Sound if your Control Panel view is set to Large icons or Small icons.

  • In the Hardware and Sound window, click or tap Device Manager, located under the Devices and Printers heading.
  • In the “Device Manager” window, click the plus sign next to “Network Adapter”to expand it.
  • Right click and select properties. Note down the device ID.

With the correct Device ID we can uninstall and install the drivers.

Awaiting your response!

And which device should I click and uninstall ?
