Help: Flashing orange lights

Question

I've had this Inspiron 600m for about four years. There are small lights in the lower right-hand corner below the screen. A day ago, I notced that the two right lights, one of which appears to have a symbol for the battery, has started flashing orange, more than it flashes green, the normal color. Any idea what's up? Is the flashing orange light indicating that my battery's life is almost up? -Scott

It possibly could be that the battery is almost done.

Press Fn+F3 to bring up status on the battery.

This will only work if you have Quickset installed. Here if you don't have it(under applications)
