Help with Inspiron 5100 Video Problems

Ok, when playing Unreal Tournament 2004, my screen and game begin to run choppy.  I believe that its due to my video card, so i was wondering if there is anything I can do, say flushing the memory of the card or maybe installing a new one.

Here are some system stats if they'd help:

Adapter Type: MOBILITY RADEON 7500C

Adapter Info:

Chip Type: Mobility Radeon 7500 AGP (0x4C57)

DAC Type: Internal DAC(350 MHz)

Memory Size: 32 MB

Adapter String: MOBILITY RADEON 7500C

Bio Info: BK-ATI VER008.005.000.007

System Info:

Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.4 GHz

1024 MB RAM

Tell me if there is anything else you would need to know to help.  Please help me.

You can upgrade your card to the 64MB Radeon 9000. The part number is Y0708, and is only available from "Dell Parts".

The only way to get it is to call 1-800-449-3355, and tell them you want the Radeon 9000. Part #Y0708. The card is actually for the 5150, but will work on the 5100 if you have a recent bios. They will probably tell you the 5100 doesn't use the 9000, so just tell them it's for a 5150. Do a search of the message forums for "5100 video card upgrade". It will yield tons of information.

Thanks a trillion, but one last thing, does my screen have to be anything special?  What I mean is that when i ordered my laptop, it gave me the option of XGA, or um, SXGA+ and stuff like that.  Do I need to have a specific version of that stuff?  I dont want to get my card and have it not work.  Especially since you gotta pry open the computer and risk damaging it.

One last thing. When I call (1-800-449-3355) , I get all of Dell. Is there a special number for Dell Parts? Or is there an extention that you can input when it asks you to? Or something else entirely? o.O
