Hi-Resolution on Dell Vostro 1015 ??
I have a Dell Vostro 1015, 15.6" WLED screen. It has Mobile Intel 4 series chipset.
I get "1366 x 768" as my max screen resolution. I want "1900x1080" or "1900x1200" ... how do I set that?
I dont know whether the inbuilt display card supports it, or may be it is supporting and just that the driver needs to be updated. I am not sure.
Please advise.

No. The maximum resolution is 1366X768, and is screen-limited. You either have to replace the screen or buy an external monitor if you want a higher-resolution display.

If you bought the basic screen, you can't go higher than 1366X768. Neither of those two higher resolutions will be supported with any screen (the system takes a 16:9 screen only). To upgrade you'd need to replace the display panel.

This is what the tech specs say about the model that I have bought ....
Graphics card: Mobile Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator X4500MHD
Display: 15.6 inch HD (1366 X 768) WLED TrueLifeTM Display
Without making any hardware changes can I not upgrade this display to atleast may be 1400x900 ?
