Depending on what kind of computer you have, you can download FanGUI. http://www.diefer.de/i8kfan/index.html.  It will allow you to check the temps of the cpu, memory, hard drive, and GPU.  Have fun

Hey Pam I have had my 8600 for a couple of weeks and am using fangui. If you dont mind post your temps so we can compare. thanks

 They are 38 and 43 C.

Hi Mike,

  The current CPU temp is reading 100 and the HD temp is 111.  My I8600 runs at 1.4 w/256 meg ram. 60 GB HD.

Thats pretty close to where I operate with my power scheme in power options set to the laptop setting. If I set the setting to desktop my temp rises to the mid 50s.
No Events found!
