I too would like to know this. The above link is just wrong. It tells you just to remove the program in the normal way via the control panel etc. Well I just had a tech use the Dell connect , GoToAssist and now want to uninstall it but there is no mention of the software in the Program features in Win7 to uninstall it so what to do? I did find an addon in internet explorer that I removed, but i was using firefox to install it not IE and there are no related plugins in FF??

I would go so far as to call this malware and would warn all dell users NOT to agree to install this rubbish. There is no uninstall on this software and it has left files and folders all over. I am now going to have to remove these all manually and clean up the registry after. There are files and folders all over the shop in program data, app data, user folder and many other places. Without an uninstaller this software is a menace. Dell techs could use a simple free tool like teamviewer that doesn't even need installing. Now I have to waste my time removing this rubbish from citrix.

At the end of your session, gotoassist leaves a entry in programs and features. This entry can be used to remove the application but it is not necessary. Upon your first reboot after your session has completed the application removes itself. This was just verified on a win 7 ultimate system.

you suggest to remove SPYWARE you go to the SPY? dell support put it on, it is not a dell product, it is from citrix.
as you can see it does not actually uninstall, as well as it hampers your system huge. i work around this temporarily by replacing the executable.
