How to Disable laptop d630 keyboard ??
I have dell d630 laptop and its keyboard is not working properly . Keyboard key "C" is not working and it automatically write "C" anywhere where i Click my mouse . its "C" is not under control ... Please tell me how to disable this keyboard and I would be able to use external keyboard . Plzz tell me the solution ????

I turned off the keyboard(and touchpad too) in the following way on winxpsp3
Commented entries i8042prt.sys in
c:\WINDOWS\inf\drvindex.inf
c:\WINDOWS\inf\layout.inf
[put ; before i8042prt.sys just like that ->";i8042prt.sys"]
(Re)move i8042prt.sys from
c:\WINDOWS\system32\dllcache\i8042prt.sys
c:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\i8042prt.sys
c:\WINDOWS\system32\ReinstallBackups\0017\DriverFiles\i386\i8042prt.sys
[is better to check few times that file is really gone]
Reboot and make it believe ;)
Subdir of c:\WINDOWS\system32\ReinstallBackups\ may be diffrent on other PCs than mine
