How to open a Power adapter for notebook?
I have an inspiron 8100 notebook AC power adapter with a broken cable due to frequent bending at the point where the able is connected to the AC adapter. The cable cannot be be unplugged. I need to open the unit, but I can find any screws on the AC adapter box. The adapter part number is P/N 9364U Model AA20031. Hardware gurus please help. Regards. Sitapsa.

I think you'll find that even IF you COULD get inside everything would be encased in a non conductive cement, even if all it's innards aren't so covered then I'm afraid that busting it open will be your only option...and if you do that you'll likely junk it anyway...time for a new powerbrick methinks..and try not to over-bend the cabling on it this time
IMHO Dell should supply adapters that have plug in cables at BOTH ENDS for just this sort of problem. Then you'd only have a new cable to buy instead of the whole shootin match
Don't suppose it's warranty huh?
