How to remove keypad?
Hi I have an Inspiron 1721 and just the other day I managed to flip a cup of a coffee over the keypad. There was no damage done as such but I have noticed some of the keys are sticking due to the sugar in the coffee. How do I remove keypad for to clean it. Also could anyone please tell me what to use for cleaning the screen as it is a type of plastic and I'm finding it quite difficult to clean... Thanks.

Inspiron 1721 service manual for removing the keyboard. As well, individual keys can just be popped off to clean them, then pressed back on. Althouth it can be quite finnicky to get them lined up properly when putting them back on. Individual keys since they don't have any electronics on them can probably be washed however you want but I wouldn't use anything too harsh. For the keyboard in general I'd try just a damp cloth, and make sure it is 100% dry before re-attaching it. For the screen I also just use a damp soft cloth and that has always worked, just rub gently in circles for a bit. Other then that, for the LCD see this and for general computer cleaning see this.
