Hyena noise
When I am online a hyena type sound comes on periodically. What is causing that and how do I get rid of it. It lasts only seconds at a time and can happen one or more times a session.

Scan your machine for a virus. Of course, it could be something in the "Sounds" scheme. Click on the "Start" button, then click on the "Control Panel" menu item, then click on the "Sounds and Audio Devices". Click on the Sounds tab and try the various sounds. It could be that you have some weird sound indicating a program action...Good luck!
