I installed a new hard drive on XPS L501X

I put a new hard drive in used laptop XPS L501X with Windows 7. I have the CD with the drivers but since it's older do I need to download newer ones from Dell?
I definitely need the driver(s) for being able to connect it to the internet and not sure they are on the CD.
