All Dell batteries serial number start with either CN or KR .
We have checked the serial number you provided and its a Genuine Dell battery part.
Nothing to worry.

Thanks for your reply ,I just need to ask you the sticker on the battery says Li-ion 20.
While the one I got with my laptop was Li-ion 00, is that okay or dangerous to use and what is that number representing.

Its only the volts which is nothing to worry about. as long as the watt hour is the same on the new and original battery.
