Hi erdserbetci,

You may uninstall and re-install the 'Intel Rapid Storage Technology' application from control panel and see if it works.

To uninstall open 'Programs and Features' by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button -- > Control Panel -- > Programs -- > Programs and Features --> Select a program then click Uninstall.

To re-install Intel Rapid Storage Technology: http://dell.to/WY4Wlo

Steps to download:

  • Click on “Download File”.
  • Select “For Single File Download via Browser”.
  • Click on “Download Now”.
  • Save the driver on your desktop.
  • Once the driver is saved on desktop, right click on it and select “Run as administrator”.
  • Install the driver by following the on screen instructions.
  • Restart your computer

Please share the findings.

I was getting this same error on a 2014 model Inspiron 15 with Windows 7 Pro 64bit.

First. how important is this program? Can I simply uninstall it and remove the error?

I followed the instructions you provided above which sounded like a working solution.
I uninstalled the App, downloaded the Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver that came up
under the Service Tag for this laptop & Installed the driver.

After all that, the same error is still appearing.

Thanks for any help.
