IRST does not appear on BIOS options

My pc is Dell 17R 7720 SE

I just have installed a mSata drive( I want to accelerate my primary HD) . The system recognised the card  (in device manager and bios) but the  Intel Smart Response Technology (ISRT) option on SATA operation (in bios) is not showing. I see only AHCI and ATA.

So i can't use accelerate function on Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology. I can't even see the Accelerate button.

I appreciate any type of answer. Thanks

ps:I am usin UEFI boot, with windows 7

SOLUTION

1-Enter bios and load default settings using F9

this will show the Intel Smart Response Technology as SATA operation option. Do not change this settings. Leave it AHCI for the moment

Save changes and restart.

2-apply Microsoft Fix it 50470

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/922976

this will change two registry values and now the windows can be started with SATA operation  Intel Smart Response Technology.

3- Restart , enter bios and change SATA operation to  Intel Smart Response Technology

4- Maybe the system will require Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology to be reinstalled ( I reinstalled the software)

http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/DriverDetails/Product/inspiron-17r-se-7720?driverId=VWCH1&osCode=W764&fileId=3126813212&languageCode=EN&categoryId=SA

5-Now the Accelerate button will be visible.

You need to create a partition on the mSATA drive of 8G (for 8G or less RAM) or 16 G (for 8-16G of RAM).  Once that's done, you will see the IRST option appear.

Just tried this. The situation is still the same. No IRST option on SATA operation
