Identify the 640m battery?

Dec 21st - ordered Item 312-0450 85WHr 9-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery, for  Inspirion 640m/E 1405, customer installed.

Dec 24th - order received!   Invoice accurately  describes battery I ordered... but the battery in the box does not fit my laptop.  It's too short, and too  wide.

Jan 5th - spoke on the  phone to Dell supervisor, explaining that the battery  rec'd is  not the correct size.  I confirmed this  by reading to the supervisor  that the battery received contains a  paper slip which says, "Battery pack suitable for use only with DELL Computer Model PP19L."
Dell has  kindly agreed to make exchange.

Jan 5th - searching Dell's website, I see that the PP19L was somehow associated with the Inspirion 640m years ago... uses the same instruction manual?  *argh*

Has anyone  had any success (or  failure!) in ordering a  640M battery?
