Inconsistent Wireless and DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE error on restart

I bought an XPS 13 last week, everything seems okay apart from the wireless connection that drops in and out.

I have found posts about similar problems but none of the solutions have worked and I am now receiving a DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE when I try and restart the machine after changing the wireless settings in device manager.

If I cant get this issue resolved I will have to send the machine back as it has been purchased for on the go work which requires connecting to many wireless hotspots
