Increasing maximum ram capacity in an Inspiron 6000

Question

Is it possible to increase the maximum ram capacity in an Inspiron 6000 beyond it's 2 gig. limit?  The one I have currently runs fine with one, 2 gig sim, but when I try a second one, it will not boot at all.  The web site lists the limit at 2 gig and I have installed the latest bios update, but it did not contain support for any additional ram.   Is there a way to increase the maximum capacity?

No, there isn't - the limit is 2G, and that's that.
