Inspiron 13 7378 dual channel mode
Hello,
I purchased a 8GB micron ddr4 module and added it into slot 2. Slot 1 has the original dell 8GB Micron ddr4 module.
The modules are Identical in specs per cpuid. All 16GB of ram is recognized but in the bios "System Information" under the General tab the bios says it is in single channel mode. I bought the additional memory so I could realize the boost in video graphics speed. Dual channel mode operation is important for a system that uses shared system memory for graphics.
Is there any way to set the bios to dual channel mode?

Hi,
I'm not an expert. I have the same model and I had the same issue when I installed more ram today. For some reason swapping the modules and slots resolved my issue. It worked for me. Hope this helps.
