Inspiron 15-3552 no audio
I have updated all drivers. A system diagnosis shows audio working correctly. When I open volume control, the bar showing volume does move. Yet I have no sound?
When I go to configure speakers, it shows a test for configuring external speakers only

When did the issue start? Did you make any hardware or software changes recently ?
Do you hear the windows log in sound ?
Please try doing a system restore to an earlier points when it was working fine.

I just bought the laptop. There is no sound at all, and never was,
The icons show in the taskbar and are not muted. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers.

How about from earphones??
Do provide us your system tag#, email address and name, contact number via private messages.
