Try booting into safe mode by starting the computer and tapping the F8 key. Choose Safe Mode. Uninstall the apple update. Restart the computer.

You have tried reinserting the iPhone? Since it was an iTunes situation, it would not hurt, maybe it is waiting to complete an install.

Thank you Jesse! I wasn't able to boot in Safe Mode but F8 allowed me to reinstall Windows 10 and keep all of my files.
