Inspiron 1520 touchpad issues

Hi everyone :smileyhappy:

in january i bought an inspiron 1520 and after the first week or two i ran into the freezing problem.. eventually managed to find out how to fix it but now i have this problem..

My touchpad worked fine for about a month until it began to become unresponsive whilst scrolling, i tried uninstalling and reinstalling the touchpad driver but has had no effect. it wasn't terrible it just slowly scrolled down the page until it reached the bottom then it would become responsive again, also if i alt+tab'd out of the page the mouse would stop. after registering on the forum my mouse then suddenly stopped being able to click (with the actual buttons and the touchpad) i have noticed now that the scroll isn't working after 2 minutes of me restarting the computer..

i just checked the power adapter and it is REV "A03"

btw i installed the touchpad drivers from CD, i think i read earlier on that there was another version?

i really do hope there's a quick way to fix this..

other than the freezing problem and this the laptop has been fine, when i first loaded it up i thought there was a problem with the wireless because it wasn't picking up my router.. i went upstairs to check and my brother had decided to take it to his girlfriends -.-

also i just noticed the scroll does work if i am extremely light and only move slowly (if i go to slide it just locks and rarely stops until reaches the bottom)
i have the Centrino dual core with windows vista

My issue is not the same, my touchpad only displays some of the symptoms and also i just changed the width of the scroll and the scroll speed and it seems to be working immediatly after change, i suspect however that the problem may be back soon....
