No, there's no way to upgrade the video - internally or externally.

Hi,
Buddy no offence but you can use the PCI-e card for upgrading the graphics card......then there is no reason to buy a new laptop.....with the link i have given you can check the graphics card compatible for the lappy and purchase the same from anywhere.....

You can't, and you don't - there is no way to upgrade the video in an Inspiron 1525.

For some, it is just a lack of understanding the chipset in the 1525 computer. The video card can not be upgraded in the Inspiron 1525 system. It is built into and is part of the motherboard.

Laptop's have integrated graphics cards. As in they are built into the motherboard. There is no way of upgrading the graphics of a laptop, especially one that old. You need to just buy a new laptop! Graphics in laptops are not upgradable. and on top of that, most laptop motherboards are so integrated into the plastic body that you can't really upgrade it at all. If you're wanting to use a computer for gaming, buy a desktop, then you won't have any issue upgrading a graphics or anything :)
