Inspiron 1525 keyboard problem (driver?)
I recently had to re-build my laptop. Everything works fine except the keyboard. I have the classic probelm of @ and " being transposed and the £ not working. Setting the keyboard to English (UK) makes no difference. I suspect it is the keyboard driver, but cannot find one on the Dell support site. The exisiting driver refers to a PS/2 keyboard - don't know if that is correct or not. Any suggestions gratefully received. Thanks.

There is no keyboard driver.
Read http://support.dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/dsn/en/document?docid=179256#Issue5 to see if that is your problem.

Thank you for the response. Unfortunately this link does not resolve the issue. The only item under the Dell 'Keyboards, Mouse and Touchpad' cateogory on the support site is a touchpad driver. There is no other reference to laptop keybords anywhere.
