it is typical issue...not only for you...if it is working properly, then forget it:)..but I might know what you mean:P try to firstly disable it, and check if it is working properly..What I noticed from my experience...different bluetooth drivers..means no problems regarding Dell Studio 1737, for instancI got a BT driver from Latitude E6400, something like that...works great..but a Studio's one is no good.So, what you can provide is simply a BT device name from your device manager, it will be INTEL 6230 or BROADCOM 1701, 1702. Post it back please.
Google the following website and install the drivers: Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software for Bluetooth® Technology. Ensure you have installed the latest Microsoft windows mobile drivers. and select them in the update phone drivers. should work just fine!
