Inspiron 17r se: need help for SSD installation

Hello to all Dell community,

I just bought an Inspiron 17rse with windows 8 (please see specs in signature) and today a 2.5'' SSD 128go CRUCIAL M4 with cloning kit (usb to sata cable and EZgig IV software).

I wish to install OS (oem) windows 8 on the SSD and main softwares and later use original 1Tb HDD as media store.

What I do until now:

1) Create dell backup DVDs

2) update drivers and dell software.

3) clone the entire hdd to the 2.5'' SSD using the USB to SATA adapter cable and EZGig IV software

Once cloning performed, I disconnect the 1Tb HDD and connect the SSD but the laptop doesn't want boot. (still display the select boot screen).

Boot mode is set to UEFI and secure boot is on. (I try also with security boot OFF and legacy boot mode. No results).

Could you help me please ?
