Inspiron 2500 CMOS Battery
I have a Dell 2500 Inspiron and would like to replace CMOS battery, before it fails.
I do have a manual on how to remove/Replace parts but I can't find its location and what battery I need to use.

Battery - where it goes - I believe it is the same as the 8000.

I thank you for the info.
Are these manuals for all Dell PC available on line, the loaded manual I have says nothing about how to replace this battery. Thinking maybe the previous owner did not print these pages.

I have an Inspiron 2500 that won't startup.
I am not getting the initial access to floppy drive A. Screen is blank. Everything is dead.
Is this a symptom of a dead CMOS battery?
