Inspiron 3542 Touch-pad Horizontal & Vertical Scroll not working!
Hello! I'm facing issue in my laptop Inspiron 3542 ! Touch-pad scroll is not working ! Horizontal & Vertical both ! Please help! Did re-installation of touch-pad drivers as well ! Latest and updated one!
It's just one day old ..! please help anyone! :(

i have the 3542 also.. i dont think it scrolls. i could be mistaken. but mine doesnt scroll

Best to contact Dell for a warranty repair. Also, if you have had it less than 15 days, it can be returned.

i was wrong, my other answer, just hadnt messed with the settings. have u changed or looked at the Touch Pad settings?
for scrolling, put 2 fingers on the touch pad at the same time and move them the way u want to scroll. sometimes the settings are in reverse so might take some fine tuning. the touch pad works like a tablet screen, except u have to use 2 fingers most of the time. and also u can enlarge the page and other things.
there are some pages it doesnt seem to work. works great on facebook..
